I live at the Jersey shore, about an hour south of Lynnes, and I never, ever expected that I would have such a positive experience at a dealership one hour to the NORTH of where I live! As it is, I was extremely stressed out at even having to buy a car because on my way to work one morning a driver tried to illegally pass me on the left…our cars collided, and both of them were totaled. This put me in the situation of being forced to buy another vehicle. My first contact was with Greg, who does internet sales for the dealership and he contacted me regarding my interest in the car. I had been making a number of phone calls to dealerships that day, and of all of them, I felt like he was the one who was the most cordial and straightforward. I went to look at the car I in which I was interested on a Monday, and my husband couldn’t take off from work, so I had to go to the dealership alone. As a female who doesn’t know much about cars, this made me kind of nervous. In addition, throughout the course of my lifetime (I’m 54), I have only owned THREE different cars, so I’m not at all well-versed in the best way to go about purchasing one! Waseem, my sales person, did not engage in any pressure or double-talk, and when it came to going through all the paperwork and financing with Christian, the business manager, I had the same experience. It was an overall straightforward, no-nonsense process from start to finish. In order to secure the purchase of the car, I put an initial down payment on it, but I wanted to put a larger amount than what I had in my checking account, so I had to wait for money to be transferred before I was able to pick up the car. Since I’m a teacher, I was not able to make it up there again until Saturday. On Wednesday, I got a call from Waseem to let me know that one of their valets can DELIVER the car to me! This was AMAZING NEWS because I really needed to turn in the rental car I’d been using since I was hit by another driver two weeks prior to that; insurance only covered a certain amount of days and the charges were now starting to add up! A few days after I received the car, I brought it to my mechanic to closely check everything out. There was an issue with the tires, which I brought to the attention of Waseem. He consulted with his manager at Lynnes, and they resolved the issue to my satisfaction. I also had my mechanic look at the invoice that broke down the details of the total vehicle cost, and he confirmed that I got a really great deal on the car. Although this is what I instinctively felt when I made the purchase, hearing this from my mechanic made me feel even more confident about it. It was truly an unexpected and pleasant surprise to have had such a positive experience at a car dealership. The next time my husband or I need to buy a car, I’m going to be sure to check out the inventory at Lynnes, and I’d recommend anyone who’s in the market for a car to do the same. It was TOTALLY worth the trip!
